Everything business owners actually ask before working with ZEG: pricing, ownership, hosting, SEO, AI, and what happens after launch. No runaround, no fine print.

How much does a website cost with ZEG?
Sites are a one-time build fee plus low monthly hosting. Starter is $299, Growth is $599, and Premium is $999, each paired with hosting from $49 a month. There are no contracts and you can cancel hosting anytime. You also see a real preview of your site before you pay anything toward the build.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. You own your domain as the registrant and your site files are always yours. If you ever leave, we transfer everything to you at no cost. You should never be held hostage by your web company.
Are there contracts or long-term commitments?
No. Every hosting and managed plan is month to month. You can cancel anytime and you keep your site files and domain. We earn your business every month instead of locking you in.
Can I get a monthly plan without a new website build?
Yes. Builds and plans are separate. If you already have a website you like, we can put any monthly plan on it, from basic hosting and care to the full Managed Presence local SEO and AI visibility service. No rebuild required.
How long does a website take to build?
Most previews are ready within days, and most sites launch within one to two weeks of approval. E-commerce and larger builds take longer depending on scope, and you will know the timeline before you commit.
Can you redesign my existing site without losing my rankings?
Yes. Redesigns preserve what is working, including your URLs, content, and search rankings, and rebuild what is not. Protecting existing rankings is part of the build plan, not an afterthought.
What happens when I need changes after launch?
Every hosting plan includes a free self-serve editor for your own text and image changes. Growth plans and up also include a set number of done-for-you managed updates each month, and anything bigger gets a flat quote before work starts.
What is included in managed hosting?
Every plan includes fast cloud hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, and a free editor for your own text and image changes. Higher plans add priority support and a set number of done-for-you managed updates each month. Our Managed Presence plan at $179 a month also runs your Google Business Profile, local SEO, and AI search visibility, with a monthly performance report.
Can ZEG manage my Google Business Profile?
Yes, on the Managed Presence plan. We keep your hours, categories, photos, and services accurate, post updates, respond to reviews, and watch your standing in the local map pack. Your profile is one of the biggest levers in local search, and we treat it that way.
I already have hosting somewhere else. Can I switch to ZEG?
Yes. We migrate your existing site onto ZEG managed hosting, handle the DNS cutover, and verify everything works before the switch goes live. Downtime during a planned migration is typically zero.
Do I have to move my domain to work with ZEG?
No. Your domain stays wherever you want it, and it always belongs to you. We can manage it for you, work with your current registrar, or register a new one, whichever you prefer.
What is the difference between SEO and AEO?
SEO is about ranking in Google's normal search results and the local map pack. AEO, or answer engine optimization, is about getting your business named and cited inside AI answers from tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. More people now ask an AI before they ever open a list of links, so being the cited answer matters. Our Managed Presence plan works on both.
What is AI Chatbot Visibility Tracking?
It is a $29 a month add-on for Premium clients, and it is included with Managed Presence at no extra cost. Each month we run real customer-style questions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity and record whether each one names your business, with results tracked in your client portal alongside Google AI Overview data.
How long until I see SEO results?
Technical fixes and performance improvements often show measurable change within weeks. Ranking movement in competitive local markets typically takes two to four months of consistent signals. Anyone promising page one in a week is selling something else.
Can ZEG help with technology beyond the website?
Yes. ZEG is built on 20+ years of hands-on experience designing and running enterprise networks and infrastructure. We help small businesses with office networking and Wi-Fi, email deliverability, security reviews, workflow automation, and honest guidance on what technology is actually worth paying for. The $299 Technology Assessment is the easiest place to start.
Does ZEG build custom apps and AI tools?
Yes. Beyond websites we build custom AI tools, workflow automations, client portals, dashboards, and internal web apps tailored to how your business actually runs. Native iOS and Android app publishing is on our roadmap and arriving soon. Most engagements start with a short AI consultation to scope the highest-value work.
Do you work with businesses outside Broken Arrow and Tulsa?
Yes. We are based in Broken Arrow and serve the Tulsa metro in person, including Owasso, Bixby, Jenks, and Sand Springs, and we work with clients remotely across the United States.
What does the $200 AI consultation actually include?
Thirty minutes on your real operations: workflow mapping, the highest-ROI AI use cases for your business, honest scope and pricing estimates, and a written summary delivered after. The fee is credited toward any build over $1,000.
How does custom app pricing work?
Every app starts with the consultation, then you get a flat project quote before any build work begins. No hourly meters. Most small business apps launch in two to six weeks with working previews along the way.
Do you offer IT and network help if you didn't build my website?
Yes. IT and network work stands completely on its own: office networking, Wi-Fi coverage, security reviews, and vendor quote second opinions, on-site across the Tulsa metro and remote nationwide.
Why does infrastructure experience matter for a website?
Because most website problems are infrastructure problems wearing a marketing name. Page speed, Core Web Vitals, email deliverability, and DNS issues all live below the design layer. Twenty years of running enterprise infrastructure means those problems get diagnosed at the cause, not patched at the surface.
